Week Planner for Kids is a wonderful weekly calendar for young children. You can drag picture icons on to the day to make a list of activities. You can click on the camera icon, add in your own picture, then drag it on to the day. Or you can click on the pencil icon and quickly draw an activity to add to the day. Great for quick changes to the daily schedule. Each day has a different colour and you can hear the name of the day when you tap on it . You can also add in weather icons for the day.

One of the best features of this app is that time is not attached to the event. This is great for children on the autism spectrum who may become distressed when activities don't run to time.

I also use this app as a daily schedule. The child can drag their completed icon off the page to show it has finished. I can also add a reward icon to the bottom of the day.

Week Planner can be used by multiple children. Week Planner comes with thirty basic icons which make fun noises. It is just a shame that you can't add voice to your own icons. I like the way that the student can draw their name to name their calendar. Students really enjoy making their own calendar. A parental gate is included

The app includes several languages: Italian, Portugese, Brazilian, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Swiss.

Learning Connection 4
This is one of the best weekly calendar apps. Very easy for the visual child to see a list of the events of the day. No time issues or literacy required. This app has the look and feel of a calendar anyone would use in their home. I like that the weather icons are available as this helps set up the day.
Authenticity 4
This app can be easily used by students to create their own calendar.
Feedback 3
The student can drag the icons off the day to show task completion.
Differentiation 4
The ability to add your own icons as either pictures or drawings is a unique feature of this app. You can change the colours of the days too.
User Friendliness 4
Children could use this app with very little adult assistance. Adults need to watch the video on the website to learn how to set this up. Once I learned this, it was so easy to show my students. I just wish there was a help section in this app itself.
Motivation 4
Children can enjoy making their own calendar. You can add a reward symbol anywhere in the day.
