Custom Boards offers 126 templates for creating visual supports. I can't think of a child who wouldn't benefit from this app. Custom Boards allows you to make a board which you print or email to use with a child. This is not an interactive app but is used for creating visual supports.
 
Images: Custom Boards has over 12000 SymbolStix images. Images are organised into categories. You can also add your own from your photo library. Images can be placed anywhere on the board. Images can be rotated.
 
Borders: Change the border, remove the border, change from a square to a circle shape and adjust the corners.
 
Text: There are many font options. Place the text anywhere on the board and rotate the text. Choose from a large range of text types. Change the background colour of the card.  
 
Activities and games: Board games (e.g. ludo, bingo), board games in fun shapes (e.g. ant, snake) and more.
 
Devices and Switches: Templates for popular speech generating devices.
 
Signs and Labels: Including community signs, speech bubbles etc.
 
Grids and Boards: Various sizes.
 
Schedules and Calendars: Hourly, weekly, monthly, first then etc.

Bloom's Taxonomy is classification system used to explain the behaviours important in learning. Apps range from simple memory tasks such as flashcards apps through to creative apps which ask students to create an original story or video.
Bloom's Creating
The student creates new ideas, products or ways of viewing things. Activities include making, animating, designing, constructing, planning, producing and inventing.
Bloom's Evaluating
The student justifies a decision or course of action. Activities include counting to check, hypothesising, critiquing, experimenting and judging.
Bloom's Analysing
The student breaks the information into parts to explore understandings and relationships. Activities include explaining, ordering, inferring, comparing and organising.
Bloom's Applying
The student uses the information in a new situation. Activities include implementing, carrying out, using, illustrating, classifying and categorising.
Bloom's Understanding
The student comprehends the new information. Activities include describing, predicting showing understanding use a multiple choice.
Bloom's Remembering
The student recalls information they know. Activities include matching, 'fill in the blank', making a choice, answering using a multiple choice, naming a group.

This is a superb app for developing visual supports. The huge number of templates mean that the use of this app are endless. The templates are clear and visually uncluttered.

This app is so simple to use, I have many of my students making their own boards.

Feedback is not available as the child doesn’t interact with this app.

There are so many levels of customisation on these templates. I could be picky and ask to change the size of the font for younger students.
